[Pachy-Dev] my comments on my Mantis items

This relates to the email Josh sent on Feb. 6, citing items from Mantis and
requesting feedback on the bugs. My comments appear below, and I have also
gone into Mantis to update these bugs as noted. Josh, thank you SO much for
pulling all these together into one clear email. It made it much easier to
deal with them!

Title: Status screen while building is completely inadequate

Question: The bug was closed on 9/1/05 by King, sighting improvements at
revision 981. Joshua reported that he believes there's still a long ways to
go on this item, and so he reopened the item. He'd like other people's
opinions/feedback.
 
RACHEL'S COMMENTS: I think the key thing this screen needs to do is to keep
the user informed that something is happening, and how far into the process
the system is. Also, I know Tom did a redesign of the screen that follows
this one, but it's not implemented on the live server. I think it was up on
dev -- we should get that in there at some point and review the whole
process of publishing.

Title: diacriticals don't display correctly in all template spots

diacriticals do not display correctly, so Liang knows which fields to fix.

Question: The last message is from Rachel, suggesting that the commentary
template works properly, but that she will add other notes about which
templates work/don't work as she tests them. There is no evident question,
but perhaps Rachel could clarify what feedback she requires.

Title: 10 spaces in authoring, but only 8 spaces in template for Mavericks

Question: Joshua asked Rachel to please reverify this bug. It appears that
since then, Rachel has set this bug to be fixed at/after 3.0 release of
pachyderm. Is this the case, and if so, we need to change the status from
'feedback' to something else.
 
RACHEL'S COMMENTS: I updated the to-be-fixed to Pachyderm 2.x and changed
the status from "feedback" to "acknowledged." It still needs checking, but
until there is a dev instance up with the Mavericks templates in it, I
cannot reverify. It would be great to include the Mavericks templates in
Pachyderm, so it's still a valid thing to check.
