This seemed like a good idea to me, however, before we put it on the
to-do list, I'd like to hear some other voices on the subject. Let me
put in some of the original notes from the blog report to give
context to the conversation:
Original description:
When viewing assets in a hitlist, it would be good to be able to see
a full resolution view of the asset for closer inspection. This view
could display in a separate window. The full res view could be
accessed by double-clicking on the asset thumbnail or by clicking on
a link that says "view" or "Full Size" or something like that.
Comments:
Rachel 9/9/5:
To fix:Change link under image in detail view to say "full size"
Joshua 11/7/5:
just change the link in the details
Anonymous 11/8/5:
I'd prefer to make this functionality more visible to the user by
putting it on the hitlist items. Leaving it in the detail view leaves
the user unaware of it's availability, and makes the user do an extra
click to get to it. If I am browsing assets to find something
appropriate, I need to check out several different items before
finding one that meets my needs. This is particularly true of sound
and movie media, as they are basically not visible in the hitlist.
Joshua 11/16/05:
I am in need of direction on this bug, on how to resolve. I leave it
to the design team to come to a decision, and I will implement.
Joshua 11/16/05:
Reminder sent to: ninmah, thapgoo, thapgood
I need guidance on how to proceed.
Anonymous 11/17/05:
I am not on the design team, but Mantis sent this to me for
feedback, so here is my input. I would put a link to the left of the
"details" link in the hitlist items that says "view" that displays
the media in a separate window (like the link inside the details view
does). I would also change the name of the "details" link to "info"
